The Bureau of Primary Health Care oversees the Health Center Program, a national network of health centers that provide comprehensive primary health care services regardless of a patient’s ability to pay, charging for services on a sliding fee scale. In 2019, HRSA-funded health centers served more than 29 million people (approximately 1 in 11 Americans) in nearly 1,400 health centers at over 12,000 sites across the United States. The UDS Mapper contract (HHSH250201800033G) is managed by BPHC.
